HathiTrust is a partnership of academic and research institutions, offering a collection of millions of titles digitized from libraries around the world and available via the HathiTrust Digital Library. With many unique collections, the OSU Library began the process in 2016 to digitize materials for inclusion in HathiTrust to make them globally available.
Pre-statehood materials for Oklahoma were identified, cataloged and processed, and scanned and uploaded using HathiTrust's specifications for inclusion in the database. Each page of a document is created as a file in both JPG and TXT formats. There are 35 volumes in OSU's pre-statehood collection that will be exclusive additions to HathiTrust.
