Doing Your Research: Presidential Primaries

Do Your Research:  Presidential Primaries

Who can you vote for on election day (March 3 in Oklahoma)?  USA.gov (https://www.usa.gov/voter-research)  provides direction for information on candidates, local election websites, and candidate information.  One of the sites they recommend is BallotReady.org.
Ballotready.org aggregates information about candidates education, experience, endorsements and more.

To find out news about local issues being voted on or sample ballots customized for your district, it is best to visit your local Election Board’s website.  If you are registered in Oklahoma you can check your information easily at the OK Voter Portal (https://www.ok.gov/elections/OVP.html). The Portal allows you to:
Verify Voter Registration Information
View Voting Districts
Find Polling Place Information
View a Sample Ballot
Check the Status of Absentee Ballots

You can find the link for your state at https://www.eac.gov/voters/election-day-contact-information.
