National Entrepreneurship Week

From February 11 to the 18th, the United States is celebrating and empowering entrepreneurship as part of NatlEshipWeek, otherwise known as National Entrepreneurship Week. This weekly celebration was founded in 2006 for the third week of February through a "non-partisan, congressionally chartered initiative." H. Res. 699, which created the National Entrepreneurship Week, states that the celebrations will focus "on the innovative ways in which entrepreneurship education can bring together the core academic, technical, and problem solving skills essential for future entrepreneurs and successful workers in future workplaces."

Years after being introduced, the week became "dormant" in its celebrations. In response, Joe Kapp, a serial entrepreneur, and Amber Ravenscroft, an entrepreneurship educator, launched their vision to grow National Entrepreneurship Week; it was then reborn as NatlEshipWeek.
