Homeland Security Digital Library

With over 250,000 resources available, the Homeland Security Digital Library (HSDL) includes collections related to homeland security policy, strategy, and management. The materials come from a variety of levels of governments, international governments and institutions, nonprofit organizations, private sector entities, think thanks, and universities. The HSDL is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's National Preparedness Directorate, FEMA, and the Naval Postgraduate School Center for Homeland Defense and Security. While materials are available for anyone in the public, the collections are mostly used by researchers, teachers, and students at homeland security research or educational institutions.

HSDL aims to:

"strengthen the national security of the United States by supporting local, state, tribal, territorial and federal analysis, debate, and decision-making needs and to assist academics of all disciplines in homeland defense and security-related research."
